Established in 2024, Espinosa Softball Lessons has been helping players of all ages sharpen their skills through one-on-one, group, and team instruction. We specialize in hitting, pitching, fielding, and catching lessons, tailored to meet the needs of each athlete. Coach Gary Mullican, considered one of the premier fastpitch coaches in Southern California. Coach Mullicans personal resume is highlighted by his 15 years as a Team USA National Coach, along with his personal accomplishment of being a 3x National Champion and 2x All American. His work with players includes generating over 10 million dollars in scholarships for his students at numerous universities, including but not limited to Michigan, Oregon, Fresno St, UOP, Maryland, Illinois, Creighton, San Diego St, Kentucky, Oregon St, Stanford, Vanguard, Biola, Concordia, Northridge, etc. Coach Mullican is also adept at working with the younger students, starting as young as 6 years old. All sessions are private, 1 on 1 and tailored specifically to the needs of each student. Through proper foundations, teaching drills, and video review, Coach Mullican expertise allows each student to reach their full potential.
The Ron Engle K Club Academy is the premier softball facility for pitching, hitting, fielding, and catching lessons. Our instructors have all played and coached at a high level and have years of experience. When receiving a lesson from our instructors, you will notice the attention to detail and wealth of knowledge our staff possesses. The K Club Academy has had countless students go on to receive scholarships and play at the college level. Though we pride ourselves on playing at the college level, we also work with players of all ages and experiences to provide them with the skills they need to be successful.
Lindsey has been giving one-on-one catching and hitting lessons since 2013. Lindsey’s mission is to help players reach the next level of softball by teaching both physical skill and a mental understanding of the game. Coaching Experience 2014- present Co-Head Coach of Lady Magic – Munoz Lindsey currently is Co-Head Coach for the Lady Magic – Munoz softball team based out of Sacramento. Lindsey was recently ranked #24 in the list of all travel ball coaches by Extra Innings Softball. Professional Career 2016 USSSA Pride Lindsey was invited to travel to Italy as a guest member of the USSSA Pride Professional Softball team for an exhibition tour against the Italian National team. While there, Lindsey and the Pride provided instructional clinics to youth coaches to help improve the level of play throughout Italy. International Career 2013 USA National Team Member 2012 USA National Elite Team Member After her junior year at Cal Berkeley (2012), Lindsey was invited to try out for the USA National Softball team and was ultimately selected to be a member of the USA Elite National team. The following summer (2013), she was selected to be a member of the USA National Team. While catching for Team USA, Lindsey won a silver medal in the 2013 World Cup and a gold medal in the 2013 Pan-American Games Qualifier. Collegiate Career Lindsey caught 4 seasons at UC Berkeley (2010-2013) before graduating in 2013. During her career at Cal, the Bears made the post-season all 4 years and made 2 trips to the Women’s College World Series tournament finishing 5th in the nation in 2011 and 3rd in the nation in 2012. Lindsey is currently 4th in the Cal Softball record books for career home runs (42) and single season home runs (17), and is 5th in the Cal record books for career RBIs (151). As a senior, Lindsey was named team captain, awarded Pac-12 second team (2013), and was the Pac-12 Softball Scholar Athlete of the Year. Coach MacKenna has been an outstanding addition to the KC Athletics coaching staff, bringing a dynamic combination of energy, technical skill, and a deep understanding of the game. She works primarily with our infielders and both slappers / right-handed hitters, offering specialized instruction rooted in both experience and a strong analytical approach. A 2023 graduate of Fresno State, MacKenna played third base and second base for the Bulldogs, competing at a high level in Division I softball. Her on-field experience, particularly in the infield, gives her a well-rounded perspective when it comes to developing athletes in both defensive fundamentals and offensive strategy. Coach MacKenna is known for her strong ability to build meaningful relationships with players, helping them grow in confidence and skill. She takes pride in creating a positive and high-energy training environment where athletes feel supported and challenged to reach their full potential. Her commitment to analytical development, combined with her passion for the game, continues to make her an invaluable part of the KC Athletics program.
Where Hitters Hit, Pitchers Pitch, and Catchers Catch OC Softball U is a privately-owned and operated business with a combined 35+ years of high-level fast pitch experience. Our primary goal being to teach the necessary skills that can allow any player an opportunity to excel in their respective postition.
I was born in San Pedro, California, and raised in Bellflower. I come from a super supportive family—my parents, Jesse and Lisa, and my two older siblings, Isaiah and Jesseca, have always been my biggest fans. I started playing softball when I was 6 years old in rec ball and quickly moved into travel ball by 10U. My dad coached me through the early years until I was 14, and from there I joined the Firecracker organization under Sean Brashear, where I played until I turned 18. During my junior year at Gahr High School, I committed to Cal State Fullerton, where I played for three years and was honored to be named the 2018 Big West Freshman Pitcher of the Year. In 2021, I transferred to San Diego State University and finished out my collegiate career there, graduating in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies focused on Sociology, Early Childhood Education and Child and Family Development. I have been giving pitching lessons since 2018. In 2023, I officially launched Pitch With Dani, where I now offer in-person pitching instruction in Anaheim and Downey. Pitch With Dani exists to provide pitchers with consistent, mechanics-based coaching rooted in purpose, confidence, and clarity.
We offer a full range of private one-on-one lessons for all ages and experience levels. Hitting, pitching, catching and fielding lessons are available at PF training center with any one of our experienced and knowledgeable trainers. Lessons are available in 30 minute increments. Rich Balswick, a credentialed teacher, taught at Los Altos High School for a decade. He had a successful playing career as a National Open Division MVP award winner and a 3-time All-American fastpitch pitcher. Additionally, he participated in 3 Olympic sports festivals and was a member of 3 National Championship teams. For more than 30 years, Rich has been a full-time fastpitch pitching instructor. He has trained numerous college pitchers, including a national Gatorade player of the year and two state Gatorade players of the year. Additionally, he has coached several regional and all-state pitchers. Each year, he consistently develops many of the top pitchers that excell in ERA and strikeouts.
