Coach MacKenna has been an outstanding addition to the KC Athletics coaching staff, bringing a dynamic combination of energy, technical skill, and a deep understanding of the game. She works primarily with our infielders and both slappers / right-handed hitters, offering specialized instruction rooted in both experience and a strong analytical approach. A 2023 graduate of Fresno State, MacKenna played third base and second base for the Bulldogs, competing at a high level in Division I softball. Her on-field experience, particularly in the infield, gives her a well-rounded perspective when it comes to developing athletes in both defensive fundamentals and offensive strategy. Coach MacKenna is known for her strong ability to build meaningful relationships with players, helping them grow in confidence and skill. She takes pride in creating a positive and high-energy training environment where athletes feel supported and challenged to reach their full potential. Her commitment to analytical development, combined with her passion for the game, continues to make her an invaluable part of the KC Athletics program.
