Coach Monica "Mo" Triner brings decades of elite playing, coaching, and player development experience to the Dawg House coaching DANA team. A Florida native, Mo was a standout two-way athlete from the beginning, earning Florida Player of the Year honors while hitting over .400 throughout her high school career and finishing her senior season with a remarkable 0.09 ERA. During her collegiate career at the University of South Florida, Triner became one of the most elite players in program history, dominating both in Coach Ma the circle and at the plate. A two-time NCAA All-American and three-time All-Region selection, she finished her career as one of USF's all-time leaders in pitching and offensive categories. Following her collegiate career, Mo was selected second overall in the 1999 Women's Professional Softball League Draft by the Tampa Bay FireStix, helping lead the team to a WPSL Championship during her rookie season. She later continued her professional career with the Arizona Heat. After her playing career, Mo transitioned into coaching, spending nearly a decade as an assistant coach at USF, along with a coaching stop at Virginia Tech. Most recently, she served as the head softball coach at Florida Southern College for five seasons, continuing to develop athletes and build the next generation of players. Throughout her coaching career, she has worked with pitchers, hitters, infielders, and athletes preparing to compete at the highest levels of the game. Coach Mo's passion is helping athletes understand the details that separate good players from great ones-developing strong mechanics, confidence, discipline, and the mental approach needed to succeed. MVP Softball Academy is owned and operated by Camille Morgan, a former collegiate athlete, professional reserve player, and dedicated coach. Camille’s career includes being a reserve player for Athletes Unlimited Professional Softball League and competing against professional organizations such as the USSSA Pride and Florida Vibe during the 2022 summer season. A native of Seminole, Florida, Camille trains players ages 8 and up, teaching both the fundamentals and the advanced strategies of the game she fell in love with early in life. Her own playing career was cut short by a recurring spinal injury after two years at the collegiate level, but not before she built an impressive record: Hillsborough Community College (2010–2011) – Second Team All-Conference (hitting), Offensive Player of the Year, and ranked #6 in the nation for fielding percentage (1.000) as a first baseman. St. Petersburg College (2008–2009) – Second Team All-Conference (pitching), ranked 11th in Florida and 40th nationally for strikeouts, and a top hitter on her team. Dixie Hollins High School (2007–2008) – Second Team All-Pinellas (pitcher, 1.74 ERA), ranked 3rd in Pinellas County in home runs, awarded Most Valuable Player, and helped lead the program to its first-ever district championship game. Seminole High School (2005–2007) – Camille was a two-way standout for the Warhawks, excelling as both a hitter and pitcher. She earned 2006 First Team All-Pinellas (hitting), 2006 Honorable Mention (pitching, March), 2005 Second Team All-Pinellas (pitching), and 2005 First Team All-Pinellas North County (designated hitter). Known for her power at the plate and ability to command the circle, she was a consistent leader who helped elevate Seminole’s program with both her performance and competitive spirit.
